Why Dr. B as your therapist?

Dr. Baumgartner is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), a licensed professional counselor (LPC), and a certified group psychotherapist (CGP). Presently, Dr. B is working with couples and individuals dealing with loss, transition, anxiety, and depression.

Dr. B's 30+ years of experience has had her working with various populations, cultures, and organizations. This includes men and women released from prison, those suffering from eating disorders, Ojibwe Indians dealing with sexual abuse, in addition to mentally ill or mentally challenged populations. She has also served as a domestic violence expert for the Tucson court docket and has also been the lead EAP referral for the 3M and Imation corporations in Tucson, AZ.

Group Psychotherapy

Dr. B is certified as a group psychotherapist (CGP) by the American Group Psychotherapy Association. She has also been a certified psychodramatist since 1985 and was certified as a trainer of psychodrama (TEP) in 1990 by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy. As such, psychodrama is the primary methodology used in group sessions offered by Dr. B. You can read more on what psychodrama is and how it works here.

Slots are now open for spring 2026 psychodrama personal growth groups!

A 10-week spring group will be starting on February 18th and run until April 29th. There will be no group held the week of March 16th.

Each group will run from 6:30pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday evenings. The cost for group is $50 per session. Insurance is accepted.
